This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Gather, document, and verify business and functional requirements from insurance subject matter experts, operational teams, and product owners involved in PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter implementations.
• Convert insurance business rules, workflows, and regulatory needs into Guidewire-compliant functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead working sessions and workshops with client stakeholders to assess current processes and establish future configurations.
• Collaborate with Guidewire developers and solution architects to ensure that requirements are technically viable and align with platform capabilities and best practices.
• Examine and document product model requirements, encompassing lines of business, coverage details, policy terms, rating structures, and forms logic.
• Assist in configuring and validating Guidewire screens, workflows, and business rules in partnership with the development team.
• Contribute to integration requirements, including data mapping, connections to third-party systems, and API specifications.
• Create and maintain functional documentation such as process maps, configuration workbooks, data dictionaries, and traceability matrices.
• Aid in data migration efforts, covering legacy data mapping, transformation rules, and validation criteria.
• Organize and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, guiding business stakeholder walkthroughs, and managing defect triage.
• Participate in change management initiatives, including the development of training materials, conducting business readiness assessments, and providing go-live support.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in business analysis.
• At least 2 years of direct involvement in Guidewire implementations or working within an insurance technology environment.
• Functional knowledge of at least one Guidewire product — PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter.
• Familiarity with P&C insurance operations, including policy lifecycle, claims processing, or billing procedures.
• Proven ability to convert complex insurance business rules into structured, testable requirements.
• Experience in facilitating requirement workshops and working sessions with senior business stakeholders.
• Proficient with requirements and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for both technical and business audiences.
• Support for Guidewire certification.
