This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• The BillingCenter Business Analyst will spearhead the functional design of insurance billing solutions on the Guidewire Cloud platform.
• You will serve as a liaison between finance operations and technical implementation, ensuring optimized workflows for premium collection, disbursement, and delinquency, enhancing both operational efficiency and a top-notch digital customer experience through Jutro.
• Design intricate billing schedules, payment plans (including Direct Bill, Agency Bill, and List Bill), along with automated payment allocation logic.
• Gather requirements related to delinquency lifecycles, write-offs, disbursements, and producer commission frameworks.
• Utilize Advanced Product Designer (APD) to model billing attributes, ensuring the solution aligns closely with Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) standards to uphold cloud compliance.
• Map billing data (such as "Amount Due" and "Payment History") to Jutro Digital front-end components for policyholder self-service portals.
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders to establish General Ledger (GL) mapping, ensuring a seamless financial data flow to external accounting systems through Cloud APIs.
• Create high-quality user stories and conduct sprint demonstrations to present billing functional flows to stakeholders.
• In-depth functional expertise in BillingCenter (version 10 and Cloud releases).
• Proficiency in Property & Casualty (P&C) billing concepts: Equity-based billing, account-level versus policy-level billing, and handling unearned premium.
• Understanding of how billing data interacts with PolicyCenter (for renewals and cancellations) and external payment gateways (ensuring PCI compliance).
• Skilled in Jira, Confluence, and Guidewire APD.
• Capability to define data transformation logic for financial reporting and downstream warehouse systems.
