• Lead comprehensive planning for the Data Center segment by collaboratively developing and executing growth strategies that align with ESY and enterprise goals.
• Identify and nurture new clientele (developers, EPCs, consultants, suppliers) to a level of maturity that allows for ownership by Business Lines.
• Explore adjacent market opportunities and assist in entry strategies to broaden GE Vernova’s served available market.
• Monitor and analyze industry, market, and competitive trends to uncover profit opportunities and emerging prospects, including options for inorganic growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers at hyperscalers, colocation providers, EPCs, and key partners.
• Actively engage with the wider Data Center ecosystem to gain insights into customer business models and translate their needs into value-added solutions.
• Drive and take part in customer programs, networking events, and industry forums to create demand and enhance GE Vernova’s market visibility.
• Function as a trusted partner to customers, aligning GE Vernova capabilities with their strategic objectives.
• Utilize ESY and Business Line capabilities to establish and manage strategic partnerships and alliances, including co-creation initiatives.
• Coordinate and support multi-BL go-to-market initiatives, ensuring consistency, clarity, and optimized customer engagement.
• Collaborate inclusively with Sales, Marketing, and other GE Vernova divisions to generate and convert a robust, high-quality opportunity pipeline.
• Engage in co-selling activities across GE Vernova where applicable.
• Provide commercial leadership on key opportunities, including strategy-to-win development, customer positioning and differentiation, value proposition definition, proposal strategy, deal structuring, and pricing feedback and optimization.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Profound understanding of how Data Center projects are developed, financed, and delivered.
• Proven experience within the Data Center segment, with direct involvement in its ecosystem.
• Significant business development or growth leadership experience, preferably within data centers or technology infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of Data Center operations, including power, cooling, and services.
• Demonstrated success in cultivating new customers and driving sustained growth.
• Ability to forge and maintain relationships at executive and C-suite levels.
• Confident collaboration skills, adept at working effectively across matrixed, global organizations.
• Strategic, proactive, and self-driven mindset with the capability to translate strategy into action.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%) – with a balanced mix of on-site work and travel.
• Proficiency in English; additional key-market languages (Italian, French, German, Spanish, etc.) are a significant advantage.
