• Formulate and implement the commercial sales strategy for your designated business segment, ensuring alignment with the overarching company objectives.
• Take ownership of and report on volume snapshots, pipeline health, and essential performance metrics.
• Collaborate with marketing to create and launch focused campaigns, educational initiatives, and research projects.
• Act as a key stakeholder and drive the effort to provide a top-tier experience from the first interaction through continued support.
• Lead partnerships, continuing medical education (CME) programs, and collaboration initiatives to stimulate growth and engagement.
• Work alongside the sales team to convert strategic insights into actionable plans, training, and execution.
• Regularly evaluate program and campaign results, identifying successes and areas for improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Function as the subject matter expert and advocate for your business area, both within the organization and externally.
• Encourage a culture of teamwork, accountability, and innovation across various teams.
• Maintain a forward-thinking and competitive approach—constantly looking for ways to keep GeneDx leading in the industry.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree (MBA, MPH, etc.) is preferred.
• Over 7 years of experience in commercial strategy, sales leadership, or general management, preferably in healthcare, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences.
• Experience in sales within specialty markets is considered an advantage.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective go-to-market strategies.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and convert insights into actionable outcomes.
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing intricate projects.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A genuine passion for enhancing patient outcomes and progressing the field of genomic medicine.
