• Accelerate growth within the Air Force market.
• Oversee all initiatives aimed at expanding the Air Force pipeline, crafting and implementing account strategies that highlight the company's solutions as vital mission capabilities.
• Anticipate future mission challenges and develop corresponding solutions.
• Collaborate with operational users, program offices, and mission leaders to grasp emerging obstacles and tailor solutions that align the company's platforms and capabilities with those requirements.
• Implement a solution-oriented sales strategy.
• Identify, assess, and advance opportunities from initial mission engagement through capture and proposal phases across various acquisition avenues (SBIR, OTA, CSO, MAC, IDIQ, and other channels).
• Establish enduring and trustworthy strategic partnerships within the Air Force, encompassing operational units, acquisition offices, laboratories, and mission support entities.
• Propel growth within Air Force organizations by pinpointing additional mission users/applications and enhancing adoption throughout commands and programs.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and hold an active Top Secret level security clearance.
• Over 10 years of experience in government contracting business development, capture, or mission engagement within the Department of Defense.
• Proven track record of supporting or selling to Air Force organizations.
• In-depth knowledge of Air Force structure, mission priorities, and procurement landscape.
• Strong comprehension of DoD acquisition pathways, including OTAs, SBIR/STTR, and major contract instruments.
• Experience in supporting or selling software, analytics, AI, modeling and simulation, cybersecurity, or digital mission capabilities.
• Demonstrated capability to develop a pipeline and progress opportunities from initial mission engagement to contract award.
• Established network within Air Force operational, acquisition, and innovation sectors.
• Options for remote work.
