This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Develop the content engine from start to finish: including ingestion, theme extraction, drafting, evaluations, and the review process.
• Produce various content types such as webinars and product videos.
• Take charge of audience growth and engagement.
• Our team has unique writing styles; the engine should reflect their voices rather than sounding like a generic model.
• Implement measurable quality standards.
• Manage key metrics—reach, engagement, and pipeline influence—and eliminate ineffective strategies.
• Contribute to the overall Growth stack as constraints evolve.
• Collaborate directly with the founders, customers, and customer engineers to refine and enhance how Soda discusses its category. Your insights are valuable in this process.
• Over 3 years of experience in market-facing roles: growth engineering, marketing operations, technical content, RevOps, or experience as a founder. Job titles may vary; portfolios are what matter.
• Strong writing and storytelling abilities, with the capability to differentiate quality writing: please share something you authored that was read by a technical audience. This is the most crucial line in this advertisement.
• Proficient in serious prompt engineering: designing multi-step LLM pipelines with structured outputs and evaluations, rather than casual interactions with a model. You understand the pitfalls of the naive approach.
• Sufficient coding skills to work independently: familiarity with Python or TypeScript, APIs, webhooks, and databases. No task should be delayed waiting for an engineer.
• Generalist mindset: you identify constraints and resolve them, preferring to develop workflows rather than repeat the same task multiple times.
• Adequate data fluency to establish credibility: you can engage in discussions about pipelines, dbt, and data warehouses.
• Self-sufficiency: you thrive without constant supervision in a distributed, asynchronous team operating across more than 12 countries.
• Proficient in English.
• Base salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 plus equity.
• Fully remote (U.S.-based), with the option to work from our Brooklyn office if preferred.
• Access to all necessary tokens across all frontier models.
• Genuine ownership and significant impact without micromanagement.
• Benefits include PTO, a 401k plan, and medical insurance.
