This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Plan, lead, coordinate, and implement sales strategies for home accessibility products to dealers across Canada.
• Offer technical assistance for home accessibility product lines.
• Utilize relationship-based selling to enhance customers’ businesses with Harmar/Pollock Elevators.
• Educate customers and associates on marketing and advertising initiatives for products.
• Address customer product inquiries and issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the Credit Manager regarding credit matters in the territory.
• Oversee and manage the inventory of sample products.
• Provide both in-person and virtual training, conduct dealer visits, and offer troubleshooting and technical support.
• Sustain and expand the existing business within the designated territory.
• Generate new business opportunities and introduce additional product lines to current customers.
• Facilitate training sessions in Sarasota, Florida, online, and at dealer locations in Canada.
• Provide support via phone and email for installation, service, and product-related inquiries.
• Lead training sessions for stairlift, vertical platform lift, and elevator product lines, both at facilities and in the field.
• Create sales orders and manage return material authorizations for repair components.
• Assist in the development and review of technical documentation and training resources.
• Support technical assistance and training teams with various special projects.
• Willingness to work and travel for business purposes in Canada and the US.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts for better understanding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident in public speaking for small group settings.
• Exceptional customer support and dealer interaction through phone, email, and face-to-face communication.
• Proficient in using webinars, video content, and interactive learning platforms.
• Competent in Google tools and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid understanding of stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, or elevator systems.
• Practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Capability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage travel and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and readiness to travel as necessary.
• 3–5 years of experience in a sales position, ideally with electrical and mechanical products.
• An associate degree or trade certification in a technical discipline; or 4+ years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and experience that is equivalent.
• Proficiency in both English and French.
