
Group Product Manager, Content Ingestion – Distribution

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Establish and drive the long-term product vision and strategy for Content Ingestion & Distribution across multiple quarters.
• Oversee products for integrated direct delivery through APIs, web portals, and standards-compliant feeds.
• Lead ingestion processes that are agnostic to specifications, facilitate partner onboarding and permissioning, capture metadata, and perform automated asset evaluation and quality control.
• Manage distribution orchestration, automation, catalog architecture, and fulfillment to various business platforms and systems.
• Collaborate with operational teams to convert pain points into prioritized backlogs and product strategies.
• Leverage operational KPIs to inform product investment and minimize turnaround time, issues, and manual interventions.
• Work alongside partner domains to optimize asset workflows and launches.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop Product Managers; establish goals and elevate product craft standards.
• Foster cross-functional alignment among Rights, Encoding Technologies, Localization, Content Foundations, Member Product, and Operations.
• Articulate product context and opportunities to engineers, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
• Over 10 years of product management experience focused on B2B products.
• Proven history of delivering complex technical or platform products, preferably in content supply chains, media processing, ingestion/distribution pipelines, workflow orchestration, developer/partner platforms, or large-scale operational systems.
• Strong systems thinking and technical expertise.
• Ability to reason about pipelines, APIs, data models, automation, and the trade-offs among speed, quality, cost, and risk.
• Capability to engage deeply with engineering teams without the necessity of coding.
• Demonstrated success in partnering with operational teams and translating operational realities into product strategy and roadmaps.
• Proficiency in data-driven analysis and decision-making, with excellent judgment and prioritization in ambiguous, high-scale environments.
• Experience collaborating across engineers, designers, data scientists, and business partners in a highly cross-functional, matrixed organization.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical content to non-technical audiences.
• Proven leadership experience in developing talent, providing candid feedback, and enhancing the craft of Product Managers.
• Experience in creating automation or ML/AI-powered products that significantly reduce manual effort at scale is a notable advantage.
• Background in media, entertainment, or streaming is a strong plus.
