Group Meeting Facilitator – Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Offer expertise in Structured Decision-Making to the MRRP.

• Assist USACE in determining the timing and methodology for implementing Strategic Decision Making (SDM) within the collaborative stakeholder framework.

• Spearhead collaborative SDM sessions with agencies and stakeholders.

• Utilize and manage specialized decision analysis tools to illustrate the impacts and consequences of actions.

• Guide agencies and stakeholders through discussions on trade-offs based on decision analysis tools.

• Facilitate effective two-way communication of information between USACE, Tribes, and stakeholders.

• Develop, organize, and lead a series of workshops to engage tribes and stakeholders with USACE.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or business discipline, or at least 5 years of experience in a comparable role.

• Experience in facilitating Strategic Planning, Board Retreats, Advisory Boards, Conferences, or group decision-making meetings.

• A dedicated and motivated individual with strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills is essential.

• Proficiency in communicating with customers, contractors, the public, and agency representatives.

• Capability to accurately capture meeting discussions and decisions in Microsoft Word or Excel.

• Comfort in managing group dynamics while supporting meetings and/or project/taskforce initiatives.

• Outstanding customer service skills, both over the phone and in person.

• Familiarity with essential Microsoft Office tools and processes, particularly: Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Extensive experience in facilitation, including documenting meeting minutes in Microsoft Word.
