Group Manager – Product Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Recruit, train, and guide a high-performing team to realize our product vision and strategy with measurable business outcomes.

• Oversee design projects of substantial scope encompassing vision, strategy, and execution.

• Develop streamlined standards and processes that balance quality, capability, and efficiency.

• Contribute to product strategy and roadmaps to support company objectives.

• Proficiently utilize AI tools — from rapid prototyping and generative exploration to accelerating the delivery of faster, higher-quality work.

• Collaborate effectively with teams in the US and across different time zones, demonstrating strong asynchronous communication and a collaborative, low-ego work approach.

• Foster relationships across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Data Science to create cohesive, inclusive user experiences.

• Own essential UX artifacts — such as user journeys, personas, UX measurement, and more.

• Promote accessibility through inclusive design, awareness, and innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a SaaS or enterprise environment.

• Experience in leading and managing a design team of 3–10 individuals or groups of teams.

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted design tools (e.g., Figma Make, Claude, Cursor, or similar) and a desire to continuously evolve your practice as tools advance.

• Proven ability to deliver high-quality design outputs at scale, evaluated through both quantitative and qualitative methods.

• A strong coach and leader — direct with feedback, committed to your team's development, and capable of nurturing a healthy design culture throughout the organization.

• Excellent communicator and collaborator among multi-disciplinary, globally distributed teams, adept at managing senior stakeholder expectations.
