Group Manager – Procurement Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Support in formulating medium to long-term strategies for various Marketing sub-categories.

• Create and implement sourcing strategies utilizing the client's strategic sourcing process.

• Discover cost savings through negotiations, event-driven activities, and alternative sourcing methods to meet established cost-saving objectives.

• Oversee commercial negotiations and draft contractual agreements.

• Assist category managers in managing supplier relationships, focusing on supplier performance, capability enhancement, risk management, cost efficiency, and quality improvements.

• Lead the team’s goal setting, performance management, career advancement, training, and skill development as necessary.

• Serve as the escalation contact for the source to contract (S2C) team, addressing and resolving operational issues, and escalating to the Regional Delivery Lead or Category Manager when needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• 5 – 7 years of professional experience in contracts, negotiations, procurement, or sourcing.

• Over 3 years of experience in marketing procurement.

• Practical knowledge of Marketing sub-categories, including agency negotiations, media planning, advertising, point-of-sale materials, and displays.

• Comprehensive understanding of strategic sourcing techniques and the ability to implement various concepts in category-level activities at the client.

• Capability to determine the suitable procurement strategy for assigned categories and business needs.

• Skill in drafting both simple and complex contractual agreements.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication, along with presentation skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to offer tailored solutions to meet client challenges.

• Proficiency in managing and prioritizing multiple projects and initiatives concurrently.

• Robust leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and manage team members.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
