Group Finance Operations Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• You will oversee the financial operations, reporting schedule, cash visibility, and essential operational controls for:

• A family investment trust

• An Australian operating company

• An Australian health & wellness business that involves physical products and inventory (using Unleashed ERP)

• The personal family budget, including household cash flow, recurring payments, and straightforward reporting, managed with discretion and well-defined boundaries (currently utilizing Lunch Money; open to other options)

• Your role is to effectively manage the financial close, cash flow, controls, and value-creation strategies across the three entities in addition to the family budget.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of finance and operations experience in SMEs or owner-operated businesses

• Strong expertise in Xero, particularly in multi-entity configurations (including trusts)

• In-depth understanding of the Australian tax landscape — BAS, GST, superannuation, STP, FBT — enhancing expense categorization beyond mere record-keeping

• Proven track record in cash flow management — overseeing weekly cash flow with detailed granularity; capable of demonstrating tangible improvements (such as DSO, late fees, working capital)

• Proficiency in Google Sheets — ability to modify an existing model rather than solely creating one from the ground up

• Familiarity with inventory management — including reorder points, EOQ, and S&OP processes

• Analytical and proactive mindset — provides insights without needing prompts
