This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver therapeutic group facilitation and case management services.
• Conduct client assessments and screenings.
• Lead IOP group sessions, individual, family, and weekly programs utilizing recognized therapeutic modalities and interventions.
• Complete necessary paperwork within set deadlines for billing purposes.
• Ensure a safe and efficient working and treatment environment.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to guarantee safe and high-quality client care.
• Involve clients in group therapy, 12-step recovery, health and wellness initiatives, and crisis management.
• Create individual treatment plans, monitor, assess, and document client progress.
• Finalize intake documentation, progress notes, event notifications, case reviews, case management sessions, and discharge plans.
• Oversee coordination of care and therapeutic interventions.
• Mentor individuals in formulating recovery plans.
• Assist in transitioning from professional services to community-based care.
• Encourage self-advocacy and client-centered rehabilitation goals.
• Connect clients with community, educational, vocational, social, cultural, spiritual, mutual self-help, and professional resources.
• Promote involvement in community-based activities.
• Cultivate relationships with community organizations and agencies.
• Identify obstacles to community resource engagement and devise strategies to overcome them.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a non-related field with a minimum of one year of full-time Behavioral Health work experience, or an associate degree with at least two years of full-time Behavioral Health work experience, or a High School Diploma or equivalent alongside at least three years of full-time Behavioral Health work experience.
• Proficiency in software applications for personal computer use, particularly word processing, video conferencing, email, and spreadsheets.
• Background and experience in counseling and case management with clients facing substance abuse issues.
• Capability to deliver services through video conferencing/teletherapy.
• Skill in preparing, executing, and analyzing treatment plans and psychiatric reports.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize case workload and meet deadlines effectively.
• Commitment to maintaining ethical professional standards, confidentiality, client boundaries, and sensitive information.
• Proficiency and dedication to cultural differences, diversity, and client rights.
• Willingness to seek supervision and/or support as necessary.
• Familiarity with behavioral health services, mental disorders, personality disorders, substance abuse, and commonly prescribed medications and their side effects.
• Ability to identify and respond to client danger, aggression, crises, medical emergencies, fires, disasters, and hazards.
• Must pass background checks mandated by Modern Recovery Services.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Must be capable of driving an automobile and operating standard office equipment.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
