Group Facilitator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Complete all onboarding tasks within two weeks of your start date.

• Conduct monthly check-ins with your designated Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director.

• Ensure timely responses to all email and Slack communications within 48 hours.

• Review the curriculum pertinent to your group assignment before the start time of the group.

• Arrive approximately 10 minutes early for scheduled group sessions and facilitate all groups for the full hour.

• Lead groups utilizing the current Charlie Health curriculum and adhere to best practices.

• Facilitate groups across various age demographics and cohorts, including Integrative curriculum, Support Staffing, and Wellness Hour as needed.

• Promote client engagement and group cohesion, encouraging participation and fostering a camera-on culture.

• Adhere to all operational policies and procedures as outlined by Charlie Health best practices.

• Engage in collaborative Therapy Treatment Team meetings (Tuesdays) and Group Supervision (every other Friday) with your assigned Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director, peers, and other members of the Clinical Leadership team.

• Work closely with Primary Therapists, Care Experience Specialists, and Care Coaches.

• Maintain professional communication with all clients, staff, families, agencies, and referents.

• Ensure that your treatment documentation is completed within the required 24-hour timeframe and meets both agency and professional standards as per DHCS and The Joint Commission standards.

• Exhibit professional ethics, including maintaining appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.

• Other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Availability to work three weeknights between Monday and Thursday, totaling 9 hours (Groups operate from 3-9 PM MT on these days).

• A Master’s degree in mental health or a related field (see examples below).

• Experience working with diverse age groups in intensive treatment environments.

• Proven proficiency across multiple treatment modalities, with the ability to thoughtfully integrate them into clinical practice (e.g., DBT, CBT, EMDR; MI certification is a plus).

• A strong belief in and advocacy for group-based treatment in conjunction with individual therapy.

• Capability to facilitate engaging and effective telehealth sessions.

• A reliable high-speed internet connection for client sessions.

• Proficiency in cloud-based communication tools (Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox) as well as EMR and outcomes survey software.

• This is a part-time, 1099 contractor role.
