• Take on the primary leadership role for the client following the acceptance of their proposal.
• Maintain and nurture business relationships with current clients.
• Create client agendas and prepare slide presentations.
• Lead and/or assist in discussions with clients, LMR, faculty, and/or content experts concerning content and direction.
• Review and send status/contact reports to the client after each interaction.
• Develop project briefs and outlines of work for clients and internal team members.
• Provide guidance to the support team on all facets of project management to ensure that client expectations are met or surpassed.
• Oversee projects by utilizing approved internal project briefs, proposal templates, and budget management tools.
• Collaborate with the internal team on the overall project strategy, objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
• Act as an internal team leader to ensure cohesive and effective teamwork.
• Mentor staff at the Associate Account Executive, Account Executive, and/or Senior Account Executive levels. Depending on team size, there may be opportunities for management and supervision of peers.
• Conduct performance evaluations, create development plans, and establish goals for direct reports as necessary.
• A bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an Account role within a pharmaceutical or medical communications firm.
• Daily client-facing experience along with medical, legal, and regulatory review experience is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Willingness to travel 10-15% based on client needs.
