Ground Operations Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Manual removal of vegetation from designated work areas

• Application of pesticides

• Safely operating a variety of forestry equipment, including skidders, mowers, chainsaws, and ATVs

• Conducting line clearance, pruning, and tree removals

⛳️ Requirements

• Availability to work 45 hours per week

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

• A current, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required

• Ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions

• Physical capability to meet the job's demands (e.g., walking on uneven terrain, lifting 75 lbs.)

• Willingness to work at varying heights

• Eagerness to learn how to safely operate a bucket truck and other equipment

• Willingness to obtain a CDL A or B license

• Commitment to acquire and maintain necessary licenses and certifications for career advancement

• Ability to successfully pass a post-offer physical and drug screening, as well as a background and motor vehicle check
