GRC Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain risk scenarios.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of mitigating controls.

• Perform risk assessments to aid in business decision-making.

• Establish automated metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for security controls.

• Analyze regulatory and contractual security obligations.

• Convert requirements into security baselines and best practices.

• Organize and implement security awareness initiatives, such as phishing simulations, focused micro-learning, and onboarding/annual training.

• Lead smaller security enhancement projects from the planning stage to implementation.

• Develop, sustain, and test internal security procedures, including major incident response, crisis management, and business continuity plans.

• Collaborate with Application Security, Operations, Internal IT, various business functions, technical teams, management, and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in IT, engineering, computer science, or a related field.

• Extensive experience in the field of information security.

• Strong grasp of the technical aspects of information security.

• General knowledge of the software development life cycle.

• Capability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable solutions.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data independently.

• Experience in various responsibility areas specified in the job posting.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Full professional proficiency in both Danish and English, written and spoken.
