GRC Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain risk scenarios

• Evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation controls

• Perform risk assessments to inform business decisions

• Set up automated metrics and KPIs for security measures

• Analyze regulatory and contractual security obligations

• Convert requirements into security standards and best practices

• Organize and carry out security awareness initiatives

• Implement phishing simulations, focused micro-learning, and onboarding/annual awareness training

• Lead smaller security enhancement projects from planning to execution

• Collaborate with the Application Security team, Operations, Internal IT, and various business units

• Work alongside technical teams, business departments, management, and occasionally clients

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in IT, engineering, computer science, or a related field

• Extensive experience in information security

• Strong grasp of technical aspects of information security

• General knowledge of the software development life cycle

• Capability to transform regulatory requirements into actionable solutions

• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data autonomously

• Experience in several areas of responsibility mentioned in the posting

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• Full professional proficiency in Danish and English, both written and spoken

• Pragmatic, ownership-driven, and hands-on mindset
