Grassroots Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.

📋 Description

• Develops and executes comprehensive grassroots strategies and advocacy campaigns at local and state levels.

• Assists with federal campaigns and fosters relationships with congressional champions regarding the organization's issues.

• Organizes volunteer efforts to carry out federal initiatives in partnership with the national team.

• Communicates strategically by crafting messages that are tailored to specific political contexts.

• Composes and distributes emails to volunteers, legislative alerts, issue talking points, and training materials.

• Plans and oversees Cancer Action lobby days or similar events.

• Identifies and nurtures volunteers who have personal experiences related to ACS CAN's policy campaigns.

• Coordinates campaign efforts with grassroots coalition partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant work experience.

• At least 3 years of experience as a Grassroots Manager.

• Experience in political issues or campaign organizing is strongly preferred.

• Preferred experience in attracting, developing, and engaging volunteers.

• Fundraising experience is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Salesforce, Every Action, or similar tools is a plus.

• Experience or knowledge of the fundamentals of Direct-Action Organizing is a plus.
