This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Develop new packaging artwork and revise existing designs to reflect product, brand, or range modifications.
• Create, update, and modify artwork utilizing box die lines, templates, and specifications provided by suppliers.
• Design and refresh label artwork for a variety of product formats.
• Prepare precise, print-ready packaging files suitable for offset, digital, and specialty printing methods.
• Ensure version control and maintain an organized database or library of packaging artwork files.
• Execute image manipulation and retouching for both packaging and marketing purposes.
• Organize and maintain the image library effectively.
• Implement brand style guidelines consistently across packaging, brand refresh initiatives, and additional design tasks.
• Detect inconsistencies or deficiencies in brand guidelines across high-volume SKUs.
• Assist with point-of-sale materials and trade show exhibits.
• Create brochures, flyers, catalogues, advertisements, and other sales and marketing materials.
• Provide minor support for web and digital assets.
• Oversee multiple design projects concurrently and achieve deadlines with minimal oversight.
• Carry out other duties relevant to the position as required.
• Minimum of 3 years of graphic design experience, showcasing a strong background in packaging design.
• Extensive experience in packaging artwork, especially with box die lines and label designs.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong emphasis on Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• A portfolio is required, featuring examples of packaging artwork, preferably including box die lines and/or label designs.
• Familiarity with the design process from briefing and artwork adjustments to delivering print-ready files.
• Ability to work with supplier die lines, templates, and specifications, adapting them for new SKUs or product variations.
• Knowledge of prepress and print production requirements, such as bleed, CMYK, spot colors, and related print specifications.
• Experience managing packaging artwork across various SKUs or variants simultaneously is highly valued.
• Experience collaborating with Australian or international FMCG, consumer goods, or product-based brands is highly regarded.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, especially where packaging errors could affect print production or necessitate costly reprints.
