This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to identify project requirements and develop impactful design solutions based on creative briefs.
• Design materials for logos, print and digital advertising, catalogs, point-of-purchase displays, packaging, exhibits, events, corporate communications, corporate identity, web, and social media.
• Work alongside a cross-functional team to research, create, and launch new product collections.
• Engage in meetings and collaborate throughout the organization to define marketing strategies.
• Convert marketing goals into innovative creative strategies.
• Create design briefs by collecting relevant information and data.
• Oversee marketing campaign projects from inception to completion, including POP materials, packaging, print advertising, catalogs, line sheets, price lists, and collateral.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain precise print and production estimates.
• Design labels and packaging for new products and communicate art and instructions to factories through a product line management system.
• Develop graphics and materials for national trade shows in collaboration with the Marketing Manager and Trade Show Coordinator.
• Organize and manage marketing assets, including artwork, presentations, and lifestyle photography.
• Assist with project administration tasks.
• Ensure that graphics and messaging are consistent with the brand image and standards.
• Utilize a diverse range of media in design projects.
• Stay updated on current trends and cutting-edge technologies.
• Keep expenses within budget constraints.
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year institution with coursework in Graphic Design or marketing-related subjects; or four (4) to six (6) years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and experience.
• Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, along with Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of and/or familiarity with the outdoor industry is advantageous.
