This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create graphic design and visual communication materials for monthly federal cybersecurity awareness initiatives.
• Produce campaign graphics, infographics, digital signage elements, kiosk materials, physical posters, and QR code-enabled resources.
• Design visual components that reinforce campaign themes, anchor key messages, and support behavioral objectives.
• Develop graphics for the agency intranet homepage tile cards and web-based assets for cyber program pages.
• Generate paired visual elements for campaign e-blasts, videos, knowledge assessments, and polls.
• Create visual products for cybersecurity training, awareness, communications, employee engagement, recognition, events, and program-wide initiatives.
• Revise and enhance visual materials based on feedback from stakeholders, subject matter experts, program managers, and accessibility reviewers.
• Integrate Section 508 compliance feedback into design revisions prior to publication.
• Collaborate with TV Studio and video production teams on visual components of campaign videos.
• Maintain organized design files and version-controlled asset libraries.
• Work with the Project Coordinator and Technical Writer to ensure timely delivery of visual assets in alignment with campaign communications and engagement timelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of professional experience in graphic design, visual communications, or a similar role, showcasing expertise in producing design materials for both digital and print formats.
• Portfolio that demonstrates graphic design proficiency, including samples of digital graphics, print materials, and/or infographic designs.
• Skilled in industry-standard graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or equivalent design programs.
• Proven ability to create visual assets across various formats including digital graphics, infographics, posters, digital signage, and web-based materials.
• Strong grasp of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Capability to convert written campaign messages, behavioral goals, and thematic content into clear, engaging, and visually appealing design products.
• Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards and the ability to incorporate accessibility requirements, such as suitable color contrast, alt text readiness, and legible typography.
• Competence in receiving and integrating feedback from stakeholders and accessibility reviewers through iterative revision processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain visual consistency across all campaign materials.
• Capacity to handle multiple design projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with writers, coordinators, and program stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
