Graphic Design Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Supervise the Graphic Design team at ONC

• Assign tasks to team leads and interns according to their strengths and areas of expertise

• Offer guidance and assistance to team leads and interns

• Organize and prioritize design projects, ensuring all deadlines are met

• Provide creative direction and constructive feedback on design ideas

• Ensure that designs are consistent with brand guidelines and ONC’s mission

• Review and approve design work for visual appeal, accuracy, and compliance with brand standards

• Conduct regular design critiques to foster improvement and consistency

• Communicate with ONC team members via Slack, email, and Zoom

• Mentor interns and support their professional growth

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Visual/Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related fields

• Strong communicator who is responsive, consistent, and effective, even in challenging situations

• Self-motivated individual who is proactive and completes tasks efficiently

• Ability to work remotely and manage their own schedule to meet deadlines

• Proficient in Adobe Suite

• Canva experience is preferred

• Experience with Google Workspace is preferred

• Capability to attend organization-wide meetings biweekly

• Ability to lead weekly meetings for the Graphic Design Team

• Must be authorized to intern in the U.S.
