Grants Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire grant application process from the initial client engagement to the final submission, ensuring adherence to all necessary requirements and deadlines.

• Create project timelines, establish milestones, and determine go/no-go decision points that align with solicitation criteria.

• Act as the main liaison between CFS and the client/partners.

• Coordinate the efforts of writers and technical experts within proposal teams.

• Ensure compliance with Canadian federal grant regulations.

• Provide strategic advice to client teams regarding competitive positioning.

• Facilitate collaboration between CFS team members and external partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent international qualification).

• Proficiency in English.

• A minimum of six years of experience in grant project management or grant writing, with at least three years serving as the lead project manager on funded grant proposals.

• Strong scientific or technical expertise related to climate solutions.

• Experience in managing applications for climate-focused federal and provincial agencies.

• In-depth understanding of Canadian federal grant compliance.

• Familiarity with Canadian federal and provincial grant submission platforms.

• Proficient in Asana, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and other standard project management and collaboration tools.

• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.

• Possess the necessary equipment, technical skills, flexibility, and temperament for fully remote work.

• Mission-driven, with a strong awareness of the urgency surrounding the climate crisis.
