This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Evaluate grant applications, budget alterations, supplemental applications, waiver requests, and post-award obligations.
• Ensure that grant-related analyses and documentation are accurately maintained in federal data management systems like HSES and GrantSolutions.
• Implement grant awards and associated administrative actions in collaboration with federal personnel.
• Detect performance or compliance issues and assist in formulating risk mitigation strategies.
• Offer precise guidance and customer service to aid grant recipients in adhering to Head Start Program Performance Standards and grant stipulations.
• Assist grant recipients in crafting and executing focused improvement strategies.
• Oversee grant recipients' progress in enhancing performance, compliance, and accountability of their funded programs.
• Compile, analyze, and present data collected from various sources.
• Generate high-quality written materials such as memoranda, presentations, and correspondence.
• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, human services, public administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Two years of relevant progressive professional experience in early childhood programs.
• Familiarity with federal information systems, including HSES, AMS, and GrantSolutions.
• Proficiency in English (both oral and written).
• Competence in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI) and Smartsheet.
