Grant Writer – Research Executive

📋 Description

• Create high-quality funding applications for a range of charitable and not-for-profit organizations.

• Develop clear, persuasive, and well-organized grant applications.

• Utilize client information, project documentation, and funder requirements as the foundation for applications.

• Edit and proofread draft applications for clarity and precision.

• Ensure that submissions adequately address funder inquiries and meet eligibility criteria.

• Prepare and submit completed applications via online funding platforms.

• Manage multiple applications and deadlines effectively and simultaneously.

• Conduct research to identify relevant grants and funding programs.

• Evaluate funding opportunities against eligibility and suitability standards.

• Align appropriate funding opportunities with organizations and projects.

• Maintain a continuous pipeline of potential funding opportunities.

• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the efficiency of research and opportunity-matching processes.

• Leverage AI tools to assist in funding research, funder and program inquiries, opportunity matching, application drafting and enhancement, editing, quality assurance, and improving internal workflows.

• Ensure that suitable funding opportunities are consistently recognized and that high-quality applications are researched, written, reviewed, and submitted accurately and punctually.

• Outstanding professional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.

• Ideally, prior experience in grant writing, bid writing, proposal writing, fundraising, or a closely related field.

• Confidence in researching and quickly assessing and interpreting funding opportunities.

• Capability to comprehend detailed guidelines and translate complex information into clear, persuasive written applications.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Highly organized and adept at managing competing deadlines.

• Ability to work effectively and independently in a fully remote setting.

• Confidence in learning and utilizing new technology.

• Experience with AI tools or a willingness to develop practical AI skills.

• Interest in process improvement and discovering more efficient working methods.

• Ability to take ownership of tasks and consistently deliver high-quality results.
