This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create engaging grant proposals, letters of inquiry, concept papers, reports, and other funding requests for foundation, corporate, state, federal, and cooperative agreement opportunities.
• Convert program concepts, community impact, organizational priorities, and funder requirements into compelling, funder-focused narratives.
• Incorporate Hispanic Access’s Theory of Change, brand language, strategic priorities, and impact data into all proposal documents.
• Generate high-quality, review-ready drafts with meticulous attention to detail, clarity, and compliance.
• Guarantee all submissions are precise, complete, and delivered on schedule.
• Evaluate funding opportunities, RFPs, and funder priorities to determine alignment and competitiveness.
• Create funding briefs that outline opportunity fit, key requirements, risks, and strategic recommendations.
• Customize proposal language, framing, outcomes, and impact narratives to align with funder priorities and interests.
• Suggest strategies that enhance proposal competitiveness, including alignment, outcomes measurement, return on investment, and differentiation.
• Engage in proposal debriefs and ongoing improvement initiatives to enhance future submissions.
• Research and pinpoint funding opportunities that correspond with organizational priorities and programmatic objectives.
• Track trends in philanthropy, public funding, and nonprofit fundraising to uncover new opportunities and risks.
• Assist in opportunity qualification and prioritization through research and analysis.
• Keep abreast of evolving grant writing best practices, funder expectations, and sector trends.
• Collaborate with Program Directors, Communications, Development, and Leadership during proposal development.
• Manage proposal timelines, content collection, supporting materials, and internal review processes.
• Facilitate information gathering to ensure proposals accurately reflect program goals, outcomes, implementation plans, and organizational priorities.
• Work with program and finance staff to create proposal budgets and supporting documentation that align with project design, funder requirements, and proposal narratives.
• Maintain organized proposal files, templates, and supporting documentation.
• Utilize AI tools, research platforms, and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, proposal quality, and organizational learning.
• Continuously improve grant writing, storytelling, and proposal development skills.
• Propose enhancements to proposal development processes, tools, templates, and workflows.
• Share relevant trends, insights, and best practices with colleagues.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading abilities, with the capacity to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Strong research, analytical, and critical-thinking capabilities.
• Proven ability to synthesize information from various sources into concise, engaging narratives.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Curiosity, initiative, and a readiness to learn new subjects, technologies, and methodologies.
• Capability to collaborate effectively across teams and foster positive working relationships.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and cloud-based collaboration tools.
