CCL Program Writer – Revenue Cycle Extracts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The CCL Program Writer is responsible for managing MDaudit's Cerner CCL extract library, which includes scripts that retrieve clinical events and charge transactions from client Cerner Millennium environments to support MDaudit's revenue integrity and audit platform.

• This role encompasses the complete lifecycle of these extracts, including new developments as MDaudit incorporates additional data sources or product features, ongoing maintenance in response to changes in Cerner's data model across vendor releases, client-specific localization as new health systems are integrated, deployment and installation collaboration at client locations, and production support when extracts encounter issues or when downstream ingestion raises concerns.

• There may be occasional involvement in pre-sales and solutions engineering during prospect calls and feasibility assessments.

• The CCL Program Writer collaborates with client revenue cycle teams as well as client IT and infrastructure teams (SFTP configuration, file paths, extracts, etc.).

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Cerner CCL, including subroutines, record structures, expand/locateval, select into "nl:", uar_get_code_by, and dm_info read/write patterns, as well as GenerateOutput and Addoutput file creation.

• Familiarity with Cerner Millennium tables such as clinical_event, encounter, person, orders, surgical_case, charge, charge_event_l*, dm_info, code_value, and code_set.

• Knowledge of common code sets: 6000 (catalog), 19 (financial class), 10039 (acuity), and 72 (note type).

• Capability to read and extend existing subroutines exceeding 500 lines without the need for rewriting.

• Recognized as a Cerner CCL Subject Matter Expert.

• Previous experience at a Cerner PA hospital or within a Cerner consulting practice.

• Exposure to Oracle PL/SQL.
