This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct demonstrations and define Proof of Concepts (PoCs) alongside our Account Executives, from the initial technical conversation to successful closure.
• Convert customer challenges into solutions offered by Soda, and articulate Soda's capabilities in terms that resonate with the customer.
• Develop tailored demos, sample pipelines, and PoC setups that demonstrate tangible value.
• Manage product, technical, and security inquiries on Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Assist customers throughout the evaluation, purchasing, and implementation phases.
• Serve as the technical representative in discussions with Data Engineers, Heads of Data Platform, and Chief Data Officers.
• Occasionally travel to customer locations, team offsite events, and industry conferences.
• Embrace multiple roles - it's a startup environment, allowing you to engage with every phase of the sales cycle.
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a technical discipline - such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in Python - capable of reading, writing, and debugging code independently.
• Excellent customer communication skills - able to remain clear, calm, and honest under pressure. You can simplify complex technical concepts for both a Data Engineer and a VP of Data within the same discussion.
• A builder mentality with a process-oriented approach - you strive to enhance and streamline tedious processes. You prepare documentation proactively, identify broken processes, and suggest improvements. You prefer to create an AI workflow for automating repetitive tasks rather than performing them manually multiple times - and you have instances of doing just that.
• High energy and exceptional prioritization skills - adept at context-switching, managing various projects with extensive ownership, and ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks.
• A humble disposition, a willingness to assist others, and a commitment to acquiring any knowledge needed to ensure the success of both your team and our customers.
