This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Collaborate closely with a senior consultant and the broader HSM team to gain insight into the PSDP function.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, which includes: Preliminary Safety & Health Plans, PSDP Stage Reports, and the compilation of Safety Files.
• Participate in client, design, and site meetings.
• Conduct health & safety reviews of designs in collaboration with project design teams.
• Perform site visits and audits.
• Coordinate and communicate with all project stakeholders.
• Evaluate designs and designer risk assessments to ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
• Manage residual hazards and risks.
• Provide safety support to both internal and external project teams.
• Offer knowledgeable advice to clients and designers regarding legislation and best practices.
• Oversee dedicated projects, including financial management.
• Deliver comprehensive health & safety consultancy services to clients.
• Support health & safety contributions for project bids.
• Bachelor's degree (Level 8 or higher) in Construction Management, Engineering, Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Solid understanding (or academic exposure) to Irish Health & Safety legislation, especially construction regulations.
• Experience through placement or internship in construction, engineering, or health & safety is preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• A full clean driving license and access to a personal vehicle is preferred due to site visits.
