Grader, Languages – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accurately assess and measure student performance in Spanish and French according to a grading rubric.

• Collaboratively engage with the Lead for the course(s) to offer constructive, supportive, and succinct feedback to students.

• Complete grading rubrics and provide comprehensive feedback and comments for the learner.

• Review student submissions for plagiarism and grammatical accuracy.

• Deliver in-context feedback and scoring utilizing the rubric provided by Sophia.

• Participate in calibration initiatives to maintain consistency in quality for our learners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required current or previous high school or post-secondary teaching experience in Spanish and French.

• Subject matter expertise in Spanish and French.

• Proficient computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

• Must uphold confidentiality.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong prioritization and time management skills.
