This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovenia.
• Oversee and analyze EU-level and local CEE policy, legislative, and regulatory changes pertinent to patient access, pricing, and reimbursement.
• Monitor EU initiatives and reforms, evaluating their anticipated implementation and effects at the national level across EU Member States.
• Maintain a structured overview of policy trends, risks, and opportunities throughout the region.
• Analyze and predict future policy changes that could impact access and business operations.
• Prepare initial impact assessments, scenarios, and analyses of risks and opportunities.
• Simplify policy complexities into clear, actionable insights for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Develop policy-related inputs and materials to aid strategic and business decision-making.
• Assist in the creation and coordination of CEE-level policy positions that align with Sobi's priorities.
• Ensure consistency of policy narratives across different markets while respecting national nuances.
• Coordinate regional responses to pertinent consultations, initiatives, or external developments.
• Empower countries to initiate or support policy-related changes, when appropriate, through aligned and compliant strategies.
• Promote the exchange of policy insights and best practices across various markets.
• Manage Sobi’s policy-related interactions with key industry associations (e.g., EFPIA, EUCOPE, and selected national associations).
• Provide structured contributions to working groups, consultations, and position papers relevant to CEE.
• Serve as a regional policy coordination point, in accordance with internal governance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality policy insights.
• A university degree.
• Experience in governmental affairs, public policy, market access, or similar roles in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or public sectors.
• Strong knowledge of EU and CEE healthcare policy landscapes, as well as in-depth understanding of pricing & reimbursement processes, payer environments, and government affairs/policy/advocacy.
• Familiarity with multi-country coordination or industry associations is beneficial.
• Proven experience in managing multi-stakeholder projects and leading teams, with a track record of delivering results on time and within budget.
