This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.
• Oversee and analyze policy, legislative, and regulatory changes at both the EU level and within local CEE contexts that pertain to patient access, pricing, and reimbursement.
• Monitor EU initiatives and reforms, evaluating their anticipated implementation and effects at the national level across EU Member States.
• Maintain a structured overview of policy trends, risks, and opportunities throughout the region.
• Analyze and forecast future policy developments that may influence access and business operations.
• Prepare preliminary impact assessments, scenarios, and analyses of risks and opportunities.
• Simplify complex policy information into clear, actionable insights for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Create policy-related materials and inputs that support strategic and business decision-making.
• Assist in the development and coordination of CEE-level policy positions that align with Sobi's priorities.
• Ensure coherence of policy narratives across various markets while acknowledging national particularities.
• Coordinate regional responses to pertinent consultations, initiatives, or external developments.
• Aid local affiliates in comprehending policy changes and their effects on access and pricing.
• Offer guidance, analysis, and support to bolster local positioning.
• Empower countries to initiate or support policy-related changes when suitable, using aligned and compliant strategies.
• Facilitate the exchange of policy insights and best practices across different markets.
• Coordinate Sobi’s policy engagement with relevant industry associations (e.g., EFPIA, EUCOPE, and selected national associations).
• Ensure organized contributions to working groups, consultations, and position papers pertinent to CEE.
• Serve as a regional policy coordination point, adhering to internal governance.
• Collaborate across functions to maintain internal alignment.
• A university degree.
• Experience in governmental affairs, public policy, market access, or similar roles within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or public sectors.
• Strong understanding of EU and CEE healthcare policy landscapes, along with comprehensive knowledge of pricing and reimbursement processes, payer environments, and government affairs/policy/advocacy.
• Experience in multi-country coordination or working with industry associations is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder projects and lead teams, demonstrating success in delivering results on time and within budget.
