Governmental Affairs & Policy Manager, CEE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Accountable for monitoring, analyzing, and forecasting policy and legislative changes at both EU and local (CEE) levels that may affect patient access, pricing, reimbursement, and overall business viability.

• Observe and interpret policy, legislative, and regulatory developments at the EU level and local CEE that pertain to patient access, pricing, and reimbursement.

• Keep track of EU initiatives and reforms, evaluating their anticipated implementation and effects at the national level across EU Member States.

• Maintain a structured overview of policy trends, risks, and opportunities throughout the region.

• Analyze and predict future policy developments that could impact access and business operations.

• Assist in the development and coordination of CEE-level policy positions that align with Sobi's priorities.

• Offer guidance, analysis, and argumentation support to enhance local positioning.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree.

• Experience in governmental affairs, public policy, market access, or related fields within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or public institutions sectors.

• Strong understanding of EU and CEE healthcare policy landscapes, as well as a solid grasp of pricing & reimbursement processes, payer environments, and government affairs/policy/advocacy.

• Experience with multi-country coordination or involvement with industry associations is a plus.

• Proven experience in multi-stakeholder project management and leadership, with a track record of delivering results on schedule and within budget.

• Capability to manage complex, matrixed interactions.
