This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +19 more states.

📋 Description

• Respond promptly to phone calls and emails from clients seeking new travel arrangements or modifications to existing itineraries.

• Use Sabre to efficiently and accurately book and issue airline, hotel, car, and other reservations.

• Maintain adequate knowledge of accounts to assist clients without delays.

• Review queues on a daily basis to ensure accuracy and completeness of all issued tickets.

• Manage service non-stop programs such as preferred vendors, Waiver/Favors, RezCritiques, and Vacation Referrals.

• Offer travel expertise to clients.

• Provide quotes for international travel; analyze rules to identify any restrictions or non-refundable aspects, and understand open skies and FAA regulations.

• Achieve KPIs set by management (e.g., productivity, transactions, etc.), including maintaining consistent attendance and following the established schedule.

• Liaise with airlines regarding flight changes, seating, and upgrades, and keep clients updated as necessary.

• Adhere to ADTRAV policies, procedures, and approved workflows for servicing travelers.

• Deliver exceptional customer service in every interaction with travelers, demonstrating empathy and problem-solving skills for traveler issues.

• Effectively communicate with other agents and staff to resolve issues, gather information, and assist travelers.

• Gain expertise in ADTRAV's industry and customer demographics.

• Engage in continual training to enhance knowledge and skills within the industry.

• Represent ADTRAV by upholding company values and fostering effective working relationships with employees, partners, vendors, and clients.

• Comply with company policies and procedures.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in booking both domestic and international travel; experience in complex international travel is a plus.

• Previous experience booking travel for government clients is mandatory.

• Proficient in using a GDS System; Sabre is required, Amadeus is a plus.

• Extensive knowledge of city, airline, hotel, and car rental codes.

• Familiarity with federal travel regulations, the Fly America Act, and the Open Skies Agreement.

• Strong computer and typing skills, with the ability to navigate quickly between programs and utilize shortcut keys.

• Proven experience in learning and using technology, able to operate multiple applications and monitors simultaneously.

• Consistently provides outstanding customer service, both internally and externally.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong listening skills; capable of understanding and responding to travelers' needs and clarifying when necessary.

• Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality.

• Highly self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities concurrently, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to clearly and concisely communicate ideas and concepts while remaining open to feedback and direction.

• Capable of presenting a professional and positive demeanor with both internal and external customers/clients and working collaboratively.

• Ability to work remotely and meet the company's home-office requirements.

• Capable of sitting and working at a computer for extended periods without leaving the work area.

• Must maintain confidentiality of company and client information.

• Availability to work a schedule between Monday and Friday, from 7am to 7pm CT.

• Willingness to work some weekends and holidays as necessary.

• Must successfully pass a credit, criminal, and/or employment reference background check.

• This position requires access to data and travelers as part of a government contract; candidates must be U.S. citizens and provide proof upon hire to meet this requirement.

• Must successfully complete a government clearance process as required by clients.
