This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +19 more states.
• Respond promptly to calls and emails from clients seeking new travel arrangements or modifications to existing itineraries.
• Utilize Sabre to accurately and efficiently book and issue airline, hotel, car, and other reservations.
• Maintain adequate account knowledge to assist clients without delay.
• Review queues daily to ensure accuracy and completeness of all issued tickets.
• Manage service non-stop programs such as preferred vendors, Waiver/Favors, RezCritiques, and Vacation Referrals.
• Offer travel expertise to clients.
• Send quotes for international travel; analyze rules to identify restrictions or non-refundable conditions, and understand open skies and FAA regulations.
• Achieve KPIs established by management (e.g., productivity, transactions, etc.), including consistent attendance and adherence to the schedule.
• Communicate with airlines regarding flight changes, seating, and upgrades, and provide necessary updates to clients.
• Follow ADTRAV policies, procedures, and approved workflows for servicing travelers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in every interaction with travelers, demonstrating empathy and effectively resolving issues.
• Collaborate effectively with other agents and employees to address problems, gather information, and assist travelers.
• Develop expertise in ADTRAV's industry and customer base.
• Engage in ongoing training to continuously enhance knowledge and skills within the industry.
• Represent ADTRAV by embodying company values and fostering effective working relationships with employees, partners, vendors, and clients.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in booking domestic and international travel; experience with complex international travel is a plus.
• Required experience in booking travel for government clients.
• Proficient in using a GDS System; Sabre experience is required, Amadeus experience is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of city, airline, hotel, and car rental codes.
• Understanding of federal travel regulations, including the Fly America Act and Open Skies Agreement.
• Strong computer and typing skills, including quick navigation between programs and use of shortcut keys.
• Proven ability to learn and utilize technology, managing multiple applications and monitors simultaneously.
• Consistently provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent listening skills; capable of addressing and clarifying travelers' needs effectively.
• Strong attention to detail, emphasizing accuracy and quality.
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to convey ideas and concepts clearly and concisely while being receptive to feedback and guidance.
• Present a professional and positive demeanor when interacting with internal and external customers/clients and work collaboratively.
• Capability to work remotely and meet company home-office requirements.
• Able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods without leaving the work area.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and client information.
• Availability to work a schedule between Monday and Friday, 7am-7pm CT.
• Willingness to work some weekends and holidays as required.
• Must pass a credit, criminal, and/or employment reference background check successfully.
• This position requires access to sensitive data and travelers under a government contract, necessitating U.S. citizenship. Candidates must provide proof upon hire.
