This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Assist Account Managers with account management tasks that enhance customer involvement, usage, retention, growth, and strategic execution for accounts.
• Perform targeted outreach to customers, including campaigns for power users, dormant users, and system administrators, to collect feedback, boost usage, support training requirements, disseminate resources, and deepen agency engagement.
• Create quarterly usage reports, materials for account reviews, presentation updates, and account documentation to facilitate sales team preparations and customer interactions.
• Organize customer training and adoption initiatives by collaborating with educational advisors, arranging recurring training sessions, sending reminders, managing meeting logistics, and aiding in large ID rollouts.
• Implement outreach campaigns through Eloqua, LinkedIn, social media, and account-based marketing channels using tailored messaging and pertinent offerings for targeted agencies.
• Assist in new business development and prospecting efforts alongside Account Managers and Business Development representatives, including identifying target programs and developing opportunities.
• Oversee selected sales opportunities from the prospecting stage through to handoff, including follow-ups for lower-revenue accounts, opportunity development, and coordination with the relevant account owner.
• Support product-focused campaign activities for solutions like Jail Booking, Accurint TraX, and similar offerings by determining account fit, facilitating trials, enhancing product awareness, and driving outreach for adoption.
• Keep track of GovWin, SAM, GSA, and related resources for proposal requests, market research, capture opportunities, competitor insights, renewal activities, buying-season support, and potential upsell chances.
• Acquire knowledge of product capabilities and demonstration skills for solutions like Accurint Virtual Crime Center and Accurint TraX to aid customer meetings, sales discussions, and engagement initiatives.
• Observe discovery calls, customer meetings, demonstrations, and sales conversations to enhance understanding of consultative selling, public safety workflows, customer requirements, and internal sales processes.
• Precisely monitor outreach efforts, sales activities, campaign progress, customer engagement, and opportunity updates using company systems.
• Stay informed about public safety market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, product capabilities, and internal sales processes to facilitate ongoing development into a direct sales role.
• Carry out all other assigned tasks.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Preferably possesses early-career sales experience, customer-facing experience, business development experience, or a strong desire to build a sales career.
• Demonstrated interest in public safety, government clients, investigative technology, data solutions, or mission-driven sales.
• Excellent communication, organizational, follow-up, and relationship-building abilities.
• Capable of managing outreach campaigns, coordinating logistics, maintaining accurate records, and supporting multiple priorities across account teams.
• Comfortable with making outbound calls, conducting customer follow-ups, and engaging with agency contacts in a professional and customer-centric manner.
• Ability to learn product functionalities, sales methodologies, account management practices, and public safety market dynamics.
• Proficient in sales systems, Microsoft Office tools, presentation materials, and customer engagement tracking is preferred.
• Able to work independently while closely collaborating with geographically dispersed sales, business development, and customer engagement teams.
• Willingness to travel as necessary to support customer meetings, training sessions, sales engagements, and industry events.
• Physical and/or logical access to criminal justice information is a critical function of this role; the successful candidate will need to pass the company background check and an enhanced criminal background check in compliance with the FBI CJIS security policy, and may be subject to ongoing checks as required.
