This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare and support Forward Pricing Rate Proposals (FPRP) and negotiate selected rates into Forward Pricing Rate Agreements (FPRA)
• Ensure compliance with cost accounting practices for both business units and the home office
• Uphold the government accounting framework, including the translation of performance accounting into government cost accounting
• Develop, analyze, and submit actual rates in comparison to FPRP/FPRA
• Prepare, submit, and evaluate the annual Incurred Cost Submission for the establishment of final billing rate agreements
• Collaborate with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) on forward pricing rates, billing rates, incurred costs, and related audits
• Cultivate subject-matter expertise and leadership within the Collins Government Accounting organization
• A University Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related discipline with at least 3 years of experience
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to summarize analyses and communicate effectively at various levels
• Proven experience in balancing multiple priorities while delivering high-quality work within specified timeframes
• Background in supporting internal and external audits
• Familiarity with Microsoft Access, SAP, Hyperion, and/or OneStream is preferred
• Knowledge of relevant Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) cost principles is preferred
• Previous interaction or association with DCAA and DCMA is preferred
