This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Prepare and provide support for the Forward Pricing Rate Proposal (FPRP) and negotiate selected rates into the Forward Pricing Rate Agreement (FPRA).
• Ensure compliant cost accounting practices for business units and the home office while remaining knowledgeable about Cost Accounting Standards Board (CASB) Disclosure Statements.
• Uphold the government accounting framework, including converting performance accounting to government cost accounting.
• Develop, assess, and submit actual rates compared to the FPRP/FPRA.
• Prepare, submit, and evaluate the annual Incurred Cost Submission for the establishment of the final billing rate agreement.
• Engage with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) regarding forward pricing rates, billing rates, incurred costs, and related audits.
• Work collaboratively with finance and business unit colleagues to support company strategies, optimize cost recovery, and ensure compliance.
• A university degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to summarize analyses and communicate effectively at various levels.
• Experience managing multiple priorities while delivering high-quality work within established timeframes.
• Background in supporting internal and external audits.
• Familiarity with pertinent Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) cost principles.
• Previous association or interaction with DCAA and DCMA.
• Experience with Microsoft Access, SAP Hyperion, and/or OneStream is preferred.
