This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Serve as the primary contact for inquiries related to governance, offering prompt and valuable advice to colleagues.
• Coordinate and assist with board and committee meetings, which includes making necessary arrangements and attending as needed.
• Provide focused support to non-executive members, aiding them in effectively carrying out their responsibilities.
• Assist the organization in fulfilling its statutory obligations, including compliance with data protection regulations.
• Maintain governance records, registers, and documentation to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Contribute to the preparation of regulatory submissions and governance methodologies.
• Review and assist in the updates of governance frameworks, delegation protocols, and policies.
• Identify chances to enhance processes and improve the service delivered by the team.
• Conduct research and draft documents, proposals, and reports pertaining to governance issues.
• Deliver effective case management support within governance and assurance initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in an administrative or governance support capacity.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the assurance to engage with senior stakeholders, including non-executives.
• A systematic approach coupled with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficiency in utilizing IT systems and accurately managing data.
• A genuine interest in governance and/or data protection, with a readiness to further develop expertise.
• Experience in a regulated setting.
• Background in supporting meetings at the board or senior management level.
