📋 Description

• __**Key Responsibilities:**__

• **Leading RRAG**: RRAG functions as a high-stakes, low-volume intelligence environment where analysts are practitioners rather than content creators. The Team Leader establishes the standard for rigor, sourcing, and analytic voice.

• - **Analytical authority:** Maintain rigor, sourcing discipline, and analytic voice throughout all RRAG outputs.

• - **Lean, expert teams:** Develop and lead a small group of contract analysts; act as the connective tissue among analysts, advisors, SMEs, and firm leadership.

• - **Intellectual ownership:** Define RRAG’s agenda and interpret global events into tangible business risks and opportunities.

• **Research Agenda & Product Line**

• - Set the editorial and analytical direction for advisories, sector briefings, alerts, and subscription outputs.

• - Take responsibility for the publication calendar and the quality of every RRAG product.

• - Ensure consistency in voice, sourcing, and analytical standards.

• **Published Analysis & Authorship**

• - Deliver sharp, well-sourced analysis on geopolitical, economic, regulatory, and cross-domain risks.

• - Create decision-grade materials for executive and board audiences.

• - Write with authority and stand firmly behind published judgments.

• **Team Building & Leadership**

• - Recruit, mentor, and oversee contract analysts and future domain specialists.

• - Conduct weekly editorial planning and product reviews.

• - Establish analytic tradecraft, workflows, and review practices that can scale.

• **OSINT & Analytic Tradecraft**

• - Lead primary and open-source intelligence research across all twelve Nexus domains.

• - Utilize structured analytic techniques to assess likelihood, impact, and intersection effects.

• - Uphold sourcing discipline and analytic traceability.

• **AI-Enabled Research Workflows**

• - Develop and enhance AI-assisted research and drafting workflows to boost throughput without sacrificing rigor.

• - Govern the use of AI under stringent review standards.

• **Public Representation**

• - Host the *Risk Apogee* podcast, the RRAG webinar series, and manage RRAG’s LinkedIn presence.

• - Present RRAG’s analysis to executive and board-level audiences.


⛳️ Requirements

• __**Required Skills: **__

• - Over 6 years of experience in business analysis, applied research, intelligence analysis, or geopolitical/economic analysis with a strong commercial focus.

• - Familiarity with national-security, intelligence, military, diplomatic, or regulated-industry settings.

• - A robust academic and public writing portfolio; candidates are required to submit 2-3 published or sanitized samples.

• - Proven proficiency in OSINT and structured analytic techniques.

• - Demonstrated effective use of AI tools in research and writing processes.

• - Management experience involving hiring, mentoring, and leading analysts or small teams.

• - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree is highly preferred.

• __**Preferred Skills:**__

• - Knowledge of ERM frameworks (ISO 31000, COSO ERM, FAIR).

• - Experience in academic, think-tank, or institutional research.

• - Experience in launching or managing subscription-based intelligence or advisory products.

• - Background supporting executive or board-level audiences.
