Goods In Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Accountable for receiving goods inbound, ensuring that counts and documentation are accurate.

• Precise receipt of stock items and proper storage following receipt.

• Validate receipts after verifying all records are correct.

• Timely reporting of discrepancies in Goods In through the appropriate channels.

• Process returns or rejected goods to QC HOLD, ensuring all returns are documented accurately.

• Suggest training needs for staff.

• Assign cleaning responsibilities to Goods In personnel to maintain a tidy workspace.

• Ensure a smooth handover from the outgoing shift to the incoming shift.

• Must possess the ability to work swiftly and effectively.

• A strong understanding of our WMS system is required.

• Capable of adjusting to and managing the pressure of substantial inbound deliveries.

• Demonstrate exceptional leadership within the team and set a positive example.

• Ability to train and mentor staff in new skills related to Goods In.

• Exhibit high levels of motivation among team members.

• Must be an effective communicator both within the department and across other areas of the organization.
