Golang Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain robust backend systems utilizing Golang.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, database administrators, and system administrators to ensure seamless integration and optimize performance.

• Debug and troubleshoot backend system issues, providing timely resolutions.

• Identify and implement enhancements to improve scalability, performance, and security.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code accompanied by appropriate documentation.

• Engage in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance your skills and knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience as a Backend Developer with Golang.

• Strong proficiency in Golang with experience in its core libraries.

• Experience in developing and maintaining APIs.

• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Understanding of software development principles and best practices.

• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality code.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a backend developer.

• At least 2 years of experience with Go.

• Availability within the timezone range of GMT-1 to GMT+5.
