• Establish and execute the marketing strategy.
• Create and manage a comprehensive global Marketing and Communications strategy that aligns with business goals.
• Supervise the global execution of brand, content, communications, PR, digital, events, and campaigns.
• Regularly evaluate marketing initiatives to ensure they are quantifiable, performance-oriented, and achieving objectives.
• Introduce innovative approaches for Proxima's market engagement to enhance impact, efficiency, and operational methods.
• Take responsibility for Proxima's representation to target audiences, ensuring a robust and distinct market presence.
• Synchronize Proxima's marketing efforts with our parent organization, Bain & Company, where beneficial, while maintaining our independent brand and strategy.
• Build and oversee partnerships and suppliers: Lead and refine a strong partner and Martech ecosystem to facilitate execution.
• Hold overall responsibility for key partner relationships, ensuring objectives are clearly integrated into planning and execution.
• Identify new tools, partners, and innovations, advocating for necessary changes and establishing effective working relationships.
• Maintain Brand guidelines, ensuring all external communications are consistent with them and reflect Proxima's values.
• Analyze the competitive landscape and leverage insights to shape strategy, positioning, and messaging.
• Design and take ownership of launch strategies for new products, services, major communications, and any future acquisitions and integrations.
• Participate in client sessions as appropriate, offering marketing and PR expertise.
• Manage senior stakeholders: Cultivate important internal relationships at the SVP and EVP levels for Marketing.
• Lead collaborative planning with senior stakeholders across the organization, aligning marketing activities with diverse goals and priorities.
• Establish effective marketing approaches with subgroups such as recruitment, learning, and operations teams, as well as specific products or market offerings.
• Advocate for the Marketing function internally, fostering visibility and momentum throughout the firm.
• Collaborate closely with Proxima’s experts to assist and mentor them in enhancing their external profiles through content, events, and media.
• Develop a strong partnership with Bain Marketing to create joint plans and shared initiatives.
• Lead and nurture the team: Guide, develop, and support the Marketing team located in Chicago, Singapore, and London in terms of skills, performance, and career growth.
• Champion the team and highlight their contributions and successes across Proxima.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions, and HR to ensure consistent branding, messaging, and communications across all activities.
• Own the strategic framework behind marketing: Develop and manage the marketing plan.
• Take charge of budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with Finance and business unit leaders.
• Identify priority audiences and align products, services, and channels accordingly.
• Oversee CRM and Martech platforms, managing performance, relationships, and financial aspects.
• Ensure effective workload management and prioritization within the team.
• Analytics and reporting: Ensure all metrics are accurately captured, reported, and actively utilized to guide decision-making.
• Clearly articulate marketing performance and impact to senior stakeholders.
• Senior marketing leadership experience.
• Proven track record of leading marketing at a senior level in a complex, fast-paced environment, preferably with some agency and B2B experience.
• Strong strategic skills combined with a focus on execution and measurable outcomes.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing at the executive level.
• Commercial and analytical mindset.
• Deep understanding of how marketing fosters growth, reputation, and commercial success.
• Confidence in using data and insights to guide decisions and demonstrate impact.
