This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee the daily operations of the Global Technical Operations Control Center (TOCC).
• Assess operational performance across all current projects, commissioning activities, and client interactions.
• Provide centralized supervision of field operations, commissioning timelines, essential milestones, and resource allocation.
• Facilitate real-time decision-making during operational interruptions, technical challenges, project setbacks, and client escalations.
• Create and uphold operational control processes, communication strategies, and escalation protocols.
• Develop and implement operational playbooks for commissioning, startup, turnover, and emergency response activities.
• Propel continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure that customer commitments, service levels, and project milestones are reliably met.
• Act as the primary escalation point for customer issues and operational challenges.
• Track customer satisfaction metrics and initiate corrective action plans when necessary.
• Oversee workforce deployment and resource distribution across various projects and geographical areas.
• Manage assignments of technicians, engineers, commissioning managers, and field leadership to optimize resource utilization.
• Develop and oversee operational budgets for labor, travel, equipment, training, and project support activities.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and productivity enhancement without compromising quality or customer experience.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to project execution, revenue, and gross margin performance.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• An MBA or advanced business degree is preferred.
• 8+ years of leadership experience in technical operations, commissioning, mission-critical facilities, construction, engineering, or industrial operations.
• Experience managing operations across multiple sites and field service organizations.
• Strong comprehension of project execution, workforce planning, and operational controls.
• Background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams through intricate technical and operational challenges.
