This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Formulate and execute a comprehensive global go-to-market strategy for railway infrastructure.
• Strategically position the market and develop specifications as well as listings with rail operators and infrastructure management entities.
• Engage actively in rail industry associations, committees, and institutions.
• Identify and cultivate new infrastructure projects, including both new construction and modernization efforts.
• Drive the expansion and scaling of the global infrastructure business.
• Negotiate and prepare specification agreements and framework contracts.
• Collaborate closely with international sales, product management, and R&D teams.
• Utilize existing regional rail networks (Germany, France, Spain — DE, FR, ES) for global integration.
• Strategically integrate the complete product portfolio (e.g., innovative connection technology) into infrastructure projects.
• A degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of relevant professional experience (preferably 6–10+ years) in the railway or infrastructure sector.
• Proven capability in strategically developing and building new market segments on a global scale.
• Demonstrated experience in global business development or strategic sales.
• Mandatory industry experience in the rail infrastructure segment.
• Proficient in navigating global matrix structures and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
• Possess a strong hunter mentality, entrepreneurial mindset, and capability for both strategic and operational execution.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, complemented by strong assertiveness.
• Business-fluent English (negotiation-level proficiency), both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel internationally is essential.
• Permanent position outside of collective wage agreements (non-tariff).
• Target annual compensation: approximately €120,000 – €160,000 (80% fixed / 20% variable).
• Company car available for private use.

• High international visibility with direct reporting to the Global Head.
• Significant entrepreneurial freedom in a newly established strategic role.
