This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Formulate and execute a European go-to-market strategy for the Data Center sector.
• Spearhead strategic market penetration and sustainable business growth in Germany, the UK, and Ireland.
• Develop and oversee key accounts, particularly focusing on hyperscalers.
• Ensure market access to specifiers and general contractors.
• Manage Tier-One suppliers within the data center ecosystem.
• Lead intricate contract negotiations, including framework and exclusivity agreements.
• Responsible for revenue and budgeting, with a clear objective to generate double-digit million-euro revenues across Europe.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, R&D, Product Management, and Marketing within an international matrix organization.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, purchasing groups, and competitive dynamics.
• Strategically position the segment within the organization.
• Utilize the complete product portfolio (building services, power distribution, controls, etc.) to explore cross-selling opportunities.
• A university degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of several years of professional experience (preferably over 6 years) in international sales, business development, or market/portfolio management, ideally within the Data Center industry.
• Strong experience in strategically establishing and developing new global market segments.
• A proven history of success in complex international contract negotiations, especially concerning strategic framework agreements.
• Proficient in managing C-level relationships and adept at handling complex, multi-stage buying groups.
• Comfortable operating within global matrix structures and engaging collaboratively across functions.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical infrastructure.
• Highly motivated with a hunter mentality, entrepreneurial spirit, and the capability to achieve both strategic and operational results.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, complemented by strong assertiveness.
• Fluent in business English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel internationally is essential.
• Permanent position with a non-tariff employment contract.
• Annual target compensation: approximately €120,000 – €160,000 (80% fixed / 20% variable).
• Company car available for private use.
