This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead a worldwide team focused on enterprise server, virtualization, storage, and backup services.
• Ensure the accessibility, performance, security, and recoverability of infrastructure platforms across both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Oversee the administration and lifecycle management of Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, storage, and data protection solutions.
• Direct backup, recovery, and disaster recovery initiatives to guarantee business continuity and readiness for recovery.
• Create and uphold operational standards, procedures, documentation, and service support models.
• Monitor service performance, capacity, and operational health while promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead major incident response efforts and ensure that root cause analysis and corrective actions are executed.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity teams to address vulnerabilities, enhance controls, and ensure compliance with security mandates.
• Ensure that infrastructure services are aligned with IT Service Management processes, including incident, problem, change, and asset management.
• Manage infrastructure vendors, support partners, licensing agreements, and expectations regarding service performance.
• Assist with infrastructure upgrades, migrations, modernization efforts, and technology transformation projects.
• Develop and mentor team members while cultivating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
• Oversee operational planning, budgeting, forecasting, and priorities for technology investments.
• Communicate service performance, operational risks, and strategic recommendations to both technical and business leaders.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be taken into account.
• Must be a U.S. citizen holding an active/current Secret Clearance or be eligible to acquire and maintain one.
• Over 12 years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments, including server, virtualization, storage, or backup technologies.
• More than 5 years of leadership experience overseeing infrastructure operations teams.
• Experience in supporting large-scale, globally distributed enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise server, virtualization, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and infrastructure operations.
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux, VMware, or similar enterprise technologies.
• Experience leading operational support, incident management, capacity planning, and technology lifecycle management tasks.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management processes and tools such as ServiceNow.
• Ability to effectively lead geographically dispersed teams and manage competing priorities.
• Willingness to participate in major incident response and occasional after-hours support duties.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
