This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Perform evaluations of existing workflows and tools within the India operation, pinpointing inefficiencies and prioritizing digitization opportunities.
• Provide guidance and assistance to the India team in moving from manual, Excel-based processes to more efficient and scalable solutions, utilizing existing Salesforce, Power BI, and Snowflake frameworks.
• Lead or co-lead specific digitization projects from inception to execution, ensuring local adoption and long-term viability.
• Assist the India team in ensuring that digital transformation initiatives align with Generation India policies, Generation Global policies, local regulations, and global best practices.
• Collaborate with India leadership to discover new digitization opportunities beyond the initially defined portfolio, performing process mapping and needs assessments as necessary.
• Create business cases for new digital investments when required.
• Maintain a dynamic transformation roadmap for India, monitoring progress, milestones, and outcomes.
• Mentor and empower team members at all levels in India to effectively, responsibly, and confidently adopt and utilize AI tools and agents, including Microsoft Copilot and Claude.
• Create practical, India-specific training materials, playbooks, and guidance resources.
• Promote ethical AI usage across the India team, ensuring that adoption is consistent with Generation's values, data privacy standards, Generation’s AI policy, local regulations, and global best practices.
• Act as the primary liaison between the India country team and relevant global functions regarding digitization efforts, facilitating alignment and minimizing redundancy in digitization priorities.
• Represent the needs and perspectives of the India team in pertinent global forums, working groups, and planning activities.
• Assist global functions in adapting and implementing initiatives effectively within the Indian context.
• Establish trusted, collaborative relationships with India team leadership and staff to gain genuine support for digital transformation.
• Utilize change management principles to ensure smooth transitions, reduce disruptions, and integrate new practices.
• Generate clear, accessible communications and documentation to aid team adoption and preserve institutional knowledge.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., information systems, computer science, business administration, social sciences) is required.
• 7–10 years of professional experience, demonstrating a strong background in digital transformation, technology advisory, or change management roles.
• Proven experience in leading or supporting digital transformation in complex, matrixed, multi-stakeholder settings.
• Hands-on experience with two or more of the following platforms: Salesforce, Power BI, Snowflake, Microsoft Copilot, Claude (or similar AI tools).
• Experience in designing and delivering digital upskilling, training, or coaching programs for non-technical audiences.
• Previous experience in or with the international development, social enterprise, or nonprofit sectors is preferred.
• Experience working in India; candidates currently based in or willing to relocate to Delhi are strongly preferred.
• Strong advisory and facilitation skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• An analytical mindset with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and devise practical, proportionate solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence without formal authority across diverse cultures.
• A solid understanding of data literacy, digital governance, and responsible technology frameworks.
• Familiarity with ethical AI principles and emerging best practices in responsible AI deployment.
• Comfortable working in a global-local matrix structure with competing priorities, including handling calls across time zones (working with teams from India to Mexico).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Hindi is an advantage for collaboration focused on India.
