Global Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete product lifecycle for the Brecknell Scales portfolio.

• Perform regular assessments of product health and conduct market analysis across key sectors.

• Convert insights from customers, sales, and the market into definitive product requirements.

• Serve as the primary advocate for the customer and the global market.

• Establish and uphold product positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies.

• Oversee supplier relationships with key partners in China.

• Monitor and address obsolescence, component shortages, and inventory challenges.

• Ensure complete regulatory compliance across various regions.

• Evaluate product performance metrics and carry out competitive analysis.

• Lead initiatives to enhance products and prolong their lifecycle.

• Offer technical support to customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in product management, preferably in the weighing/scales sector or related technical/consumer hardware products.

• Strong technical knowledge encompassing mechanical, electrical, and software components of scales and indicators.

• Familiarity with global compliance and certification standards (NTEP, OIML, NSF, FDA, barcode systems).

• Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) across all levels of the organization.

• Strong analytical capabilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.

• Self-driven with outstanding organizational abilities.

• Experience or willingness to engage directly with suppliers in China.
